Warm hair colour trends are taking centre stage in 2026 – and for salon owners, this shift presents a clear opportunity. While cool tones aren’t disappearing, they’re evolving into softer, sun-kissed shades that are more wearable for clients, easier to maintain, and highly Instagrammable on the salon floor.

“This year’s palette fuses effortless luxury with eco-friendly colour chemistry. Soft glow. Warm depth. Reflective shine. All without compromising your scalp or the planet” says OCS salon owner and OCS Creative Ambassador, Terri Shadbolt.

Brunettes are also stepping into the spotlight, becoming richer and more dimensional than ever. Espresso browns, warm caramels and subtle copper undertones deliver luxe depth and shine without feeling heavy.

Sun-baked, rustic neutrals continue to gain momentum, offering warm, earthy tones with a lived-in feel. When paired with soft highlights or dusty pastels, these shades are ideal for clients seeking understated sophistication with a modern edge.

For salon owners, mastering these trends positions your salon as an authority in modern colour – delivering glowing, high-impact results that clients love, share, and rebook for.
